Job Description Role Purpose The Commercial Bid Support Officer supports the development of winning bids by preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing commercial data, and collaborating closely with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop accurate cost estimates to support bids, tenders, and proposals. Analyse historical data, supplier quotes, and internal inputs to validate assumptions and improve estimate accuracy. Build, maintain, and optimise complex Excel models to support pricing and scenario analysis. Work collaboratively with bid managers, sales teams, and subject matter experts to gather required commercial and technical information. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and templates. Support risk assessments and commercial evaluations during bid development.
